Welger Vertical Balers: VB Series

Welger Recycling Engineering GmbH has been dedicated to optimizing internal recyclables management by compacting waste materials since 1974. Since 2025, in cooperation with our partner SOLEN, we are proud to offer vertical balers from the VB (Vertical Baler) series.
Vertical balers effectively reduce the volume of your packaging waste, including:

How It Works
Once the recyclables are placed in the baling chamber, the machine compresses them into bales weighing between 40 and 550 kg, depending on the selected model. The operator simply opens the loading door to feed in the cardboard or plastic waste. Each model features an opening tailored to the volume being compacted—ranging from standard versions to XXL openings—making them suitable for any application. Once the door is closed, the press plate gradually compacts the waste into a dense and homogeneous bale. When the chamber reaches its maximum capacity, the machine signals the operator to proceed with the tying process. Once securely tied, the bale is ready for ejection.
